Concerns about Baby Carriers
All babies want to be carried around. The best position for you to carry your baby in is facing you, on your chest, with the baby in a sitting like position. This gives proper support to the baby’s whole body. The position of the baby’s leg when being carried is very important. The legs should be positioned up at a 90 percent angle or more. Leg position is what supports the babies back, spine and legs. There should be support behind the baby’s knees and the carrier should be tightly around the body of the baby to provide full support. The baby should not be able to slouch over when he falls asleep when he is being carried.
